I did this painting last February at the request of my good friend Terrel Hula (her last name on the painting). The painting, the size of a door, was for her son, and my first acrylic painting. He had started the painting by stretching raw canvas on a frame and coating it with possibly house paint (according to Terrel). It was a very rough surface. A friend of his drew the bare sketch of the body, no face, but left it at that. The body was a little out of proportion so I fixed it as best I could without actually redoing someone elses drawing. The face is totally made up from pictures on the Internet. After the fact, I have to admit, it was a large painting to attempt as a first in a new medium. :)

Acrilic on primed canvas. Approx. 3' x 6'.
